Baskets

Three striking pendant lights by award winning designer David Trubridge. Comes in three variations Kete Arounui (bamboo basket), Kete Tuaatea (polycarbonate basket) and Kete Tuauri (aluminium basket). All are supplied with LED unit and 3 metres of suspension wire.

“There is a Maori creation myth in which the gods gave to humans three baskets containing the knowledge they needed to live on Earth. They hold the knowledge of the natural world Kete Arounui (bamboo basket), spiritual world Kete Tuaatea (polycarbonate basket) and our rational world Kete Tuauri (aluminium basket). The knowledge needs to be in balance for us to live harmoniously on Earth.” – David Trubridge

Sola

Feature pendant light shade available in two sizes; 1000mm and 1350mm. Made with Hoop pine plywood, aluminium rivets and painted one side in Orange. Also available in Natural or other colours on request.
